In this short course, we will outline the best practice trust accounting principles and the obligations of legal practitioners in respect of different types of trust money.
This course explains the basic requirements for dealing with trust money under the Legal Profession Uniform Law and explores some of the dangers that can result in trust account provisions being inadvertently breached. It identifies a range of best practice strategies, which may be implemented to prevent breaches, and considers the consequences when breaches do occur.
